Show Career (to date)

This exceptional Black has made a significant impact on the UK show scene.

She began her remarkable career by winning her first Reserve CC from the puppy class under breed specialist Andrew Whitfield-Roberts, followed by Best Puppy in Show at the SWTSC under specialist judge Yvette Tyler. In 2025, she made breed history at WELKS Championship Show, where she was awarded the CC under specialist judge Jane Gripp — becoming the first Black to win a CC in the UK.

Her success continued with a second CC and Reserve Best in Show at the SE&EA Club Show under Penny Roberts, along with a Reserve CC under specialist judge Daniel Roberts. Her crowning achievement came at Blackpool 2026, where she gained her third CC under Tibetan breed specialist Sue Dykes, securing her UK Champion title. In doing so, she became the first Black in the breed’s history to achieve this milestone.

Personality & Temperament:

Vari, as she is known at home was the proverbial “wild child” – and is full of life, activity and mischief. However she has now decided that she like to travel and has settled into the life of a “show girl”. She is an absolute joy to live with, and we feel incredibly fortunate to share our lives with her. We remain deeply grateful to her wonderful breeders for entrusting us with such a high-quality bitch, and for helping demonstrate that this colour can compete — and succeed — at the very highest levels.
